On February 24, 2021, Križevci College of Agriculture, together with members of the expert group for development of new programmes, visited the Engea Equestrian Club in Veliko Trojstvo and the Spar Stud Farm in Severin.
The President of the National Association of Equestrian Tourist Guides, Ivica Pirin, talked with members of the group of experts about the tourist riding programs implemented by the association, the preparation of trails, connecting with tourist boards and training equestrian tourist guides.
The owner of the Spar Stud Farm, and also the president of the Croatian Association of Sport Horse Breeders, Zlatko Navojec, presented his experiences related to the development and construction of this modern equestrian center, and pointed out the different environment of horse breeding in Croatia compared to Western Europe. The members of the group of experts thus gained important knowledge that will be of great use to them in the further development of the new programs of the College related to horse breeding and equestrian sports.
