First workshop

On Tuesday, December 1, 2020 as part of the EquiEdu project, the first workshop related to the development of an educational center for horse breeding and equestrian sports was held at Križevci College of Agriculture. The aim of the workshop was to define a working version of the project asignment in order to prepare a feasibility study and project documentation.
Due to the epidemiological situation, participation in the meeting was made possible for the Hungarian partner Szent Istvan University, as well as for some of the members of the working group of external experts via the Skype platform.
The Hungarian partner presented his experiences related to the work of the Equestrian Academy in Kaposvár so far, the way the complex functions, the teaching and extracurricular activities they carry out, the sources of income and the like. Each member of the working group then presented their views on the necessary infrastructure of the future educational center for equestrian and equestrian sports at Križevci College of Agriculture, facilities, expected costs of managing the center after its construction, self- sustainability through possible sources of income, possible activities of the center and the like. The workshop ended by drawing conclusions and defining the activities to be carried out by the next working group meeting.
